God of Mercy, Choose Life

Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked... and not rather that he should turn from his way and live? I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, decalres the Lord GOD; so turn, and live.

INSTEAD...

[I] desire all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

THEREFORE...

I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live.

Choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers..., or the gods of the... land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."
